Whew, another chapter in my life has come to an end. This one luckily is not as tragic as the last, but for me just as sad.
After 4 years, 4 months and 6 days, Friday November 3, 2023 marked my last day with Peckham INC. It was an extremely hard decision to make to leave a job I enjoyed and working with people that were totally awesome, but it was time to move on.
I made my mark within Peckham pretty much from the moment I walked in the door and they are probably having a party now that I’m finally gone, lol. They are probably like, whew, finally, let’s party that trouble maker has left the building! Just kidding, 🙂
Somehow I managed to have a good rapport with a lot of people I worked with from the bottom to the top and I have no idea how that happened, but it is friendships and memories that will be with me forever even if I don’t have contact with some of them all the time.
In the last year alone if it wasn’t for some of those friendships I made I don’t think I would have ever had the courage to take the next step and be getting ready for my next great adventure of working for the IRS. So too those I couldn’t find and reach in person before I left, thank you. Thank you for everything and I will miss you all.
Team 6 is the best app line team to be on by the way! Here’s hoping that my next group of co-workers is just as awesome and caring and fun as you guys are. BTW, whomever sits in my desk next, watch out for that pole, it bites!
On Monday November 6, 2023 I will be jumping into the pool of taxes so wish me luck. I think I may need it!
