EBook review, Oswald – Shadow Of History- Conspiracy, Betrayal And The Kennedy Assassination by Ryan Clark

Oswald – Shadow Of History- Conspiracy, Betrayal And The Kennedy Assassination by Ryan Clark. can be found on Kindle.

A man who doesn’t want to be forgotten!

This is a theme that is all through the book. Oswald does not want to be forgotten. He refuses to be still and be silent and just live.

If historical fiction is your style, then you will enjoy this story. It is approximately 3 hours of reading if you read from beginning to end like I did.

Oswald is definitely a complex character who at times makes things a lot harder for himself as he tries to figure out where he belongs. He needs action and needs it quick, no waiting around, no hesitation. Throughout the story you also see that Oswald has constant mood swings especially when he feels no one is listening to him or when he can’t make what he wants to happen, happen.

There were several moments during the story where I wished I could reach through the book and smack him for the things he did. Like why do such drastic measures? Yes, it got him attention, but not the kind he was looking for, of being watched and then feeling trapped.

In 1963, I believe at this time they are in New Orleans the name Audrey is mentioned for their child and that confused me for a bit because I thought their child’s name was June. Ha, Turns out that Audrey is the second child. Either I took a split second catnap and missed it or it doesn’t mention when the second little girl is born just jumps to her being there. so, watch out for that.

As you read this you will be left with questions as well.

Why were things done the way they were?

Why wasn’t there better protection? I think that is definitely one of the biggest for me. Especially at some point it was mentioned that Oswald was not safe. Then why didn’t you make better choices?

Why wasn’t there audio recordings of the interviews? Isn’t that suppose to be common procedure even then?

The sad part is that the kids never got to know their dad or to even say good-bye. However, some may see that as a good thing depending on how you look at things.
